   In 1979 Douglas ARC was contracted to cook lunch for the meals on wheels of the Douglas area senior citizens.
   Currently Douglas ARC cooks three hundred meals a day five days a week. By 9:00 AM One hundred meals are sent to the senior center in Bisbee, AZ.

   By 10:00 AM one hundred and fifty meals go out by three vans (meals on wheels) to be delivered to individuals homes.
   Another fifty meals are prepared for the seniors who prefer to eat at the senior nutrition site.

   Afterwards there is the clean up of the kitchen and dining room. Two Douglas ARC staff and fifteen clients do all this.
   This contract allows Douglas ARC to pay the clients and they in turn become tax payers of the community.
